Explore the Hippodrome, a beautiful park known as the Byzantine chariot racetrack – a stadium capable of holding 100,000 people. There are three great monuments in the Hippodrome, the Egyptian Obelisk of 1500 BC, the Serpentine Column from the Temple of Apollo at Delphi and the German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Later visit the Blue Mosque, which faces Hagia Sophia and features six towering minarets and spectacular interior covered by overwhelmingly blue Iznik tiles.

Punctuality: The tour starts promptly at the scheduled time. Please arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes before departure. Because Alberobello is a highly popular destination, traffic and parking can be challenging; please plan your journey accordingly. Late arrivals cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Footwear & Mobility: The historic districts feature narrow, steep alleys paved with chianche (ancient stone flags) that can be slippery and uneven. Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes or sneakers are mandatory. This tour involves a moderate amount of uphill walking and stairs, making it less suitable for individuals with severe mobility issues.
Respect for Residents: While many trulli are now shops, the Aia Piccola district is a living, quiet residential neighborhood. Guests are strictly requested to respect the privacy of the locals—please do not look directly into private windows, block doorways, or shout in the residential streets.
Souvenirs & Artisans: We highly encourage supporting the local economy. However, please follow your guide’s recommendations regarding certified local craftsmen to ensure you are buying authentic, handmade Apulian products.
Cancellations & Changes: Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours prior to the tour departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour, or no-shows, are strictly non-refundable.
